Empower women. Eliminate poverty.

Careers & Internships

Work with us

A job at Friendship Bridge is a chance to be part of an innovative team dedicated to creating opportunities that empower women and eliminate poverty, a team that doesn’t back down from a good challenge. Our work isn’t done until poverty is done.

We come from different backgrounds – finance, the corporate world, the arts, and education. You’re a good fit for our team if you’re passionate, creative, and love both the big picture and the small details. We’re driven by our core values: empowerment, respect, solidarity, participation, quality, and integrity, and are looking for team members who want to live and breathe those values alongside us.

Friendship Bridge staff 2017

Just like we’re committed to creating opportunities that empower the thousands of women we serve in Guatemala, we’re also committed to our own 150 employees. Many of our employees are from the same areas where our clients live and speak their same indigenous languages. Our staff composition reflects our clients’ identities: 66% are female, 71% are indigenous, and 10% are former clients.

Employee benefits include paid time off, sick leave, health insurance, flex spending accounts, retirement compensation, and continuous learning. We value collaboration and diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
