At the core of Friendship Bridges is its Board of Directors. Our all-volunteer Board of Directors combines people of many different backgrounds and experiences.
Dana Falletti - President
Dana Falletti, CPA, CFE, is the President of Friendship Bridge's Board of Directors. Dana has spent the past 17 years focused on nonprofit work, specializing in fraud investigation, risk assessment and US government regulations. Her company, Falletti Weber Consulting Group, based out of Boulder, Colorado, provides auditing, internal control evaluation, crisis management and regulatory compliance services to international nonprofits. Prior to concentrating on nonprofit work, Dana worked in Big Four auditing and then started a successful consulting business in Los Angeles, serving high profile sports and entertainment companies. In 1993, she switched the focus of her business to international nonprofits at which time she spent two years serving as a volunteer in Africa on a team project managing urban growth, which was funded by the World Bank. Since returning to the US, she has provided continuing and/or long-term services to large and small nonprofits alike through Falletti Weber Consulting Group.
Valorie J. Hall - Treasurer
Valorie has nearly two decades
of experience in financial and strategic planning and analysis with
global organizations such as the RAND Corporation, ARCO, UNOCAL and
Bechtel. She joined Falletti Weber Consulting Group in 2008,
providing expertise in process improvement, financial and strategic
assessments, planning, budgeting, performance studies, and
benchmarking. She has insight in international economic dynamics based
on years of work in the global petroleum market. She is a Certified
Fraud Examiner, has an MBA in finance and
strategy from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
Felicity Hannay - Secretary
A retired attorney, Felicity was most recently the Deputy Attorney General for Natural Resources and the Environment for the State of Colorado (1999-2004). Prior to that, she practiced natural resources law at the Denver law firm of Davis, Graham & Stubbs, LLP (1975-1998). In addition to being the secretary of Friendship Bridge's Board of Directors, she currently serves as an alternate member of the Jefferson County (Colorado) Open Space Advisory Committee and is the board of directors of AfricAid, a non-profit organization supporting secondary school education for tribal girls in Tanzania. She is a past member of the Jefferson County Planning Commission (1993-1999).

Stacey Edgar
A passionate advocate for women and
children, Stacey Edgar started Global Girlfriend in 2003 as a way to
provide economic security for women in need by creating a sustainable
market for their products. She used her 10 years in social work
practice with women and children as a springboard to her role as a
social entrepreneur. Stacey has been honored by the Microsoft
Corporation as a recipient of the company's "Start Something Amazing"
awards, the Denver Business Journal as a 2007 "40 Under 40 Business
Leader," and by Organic Style as one of their 2005 "Women with Organic Style." She has been featured in O, The Oprah Magazine, and in Multichannel Merchant
magazine as a "Maven of Merchandise." Stacey is a sought-after speaker on the topics of women in the global economy, fair trade, sex trafficking, market and enterprise development, cause marketing, entrepreneurship and parlaying your passion into your career. She has a master's degree in social work from the University of Illinois and a bachelor's in social work from Western Illinois University.
Paul Kovach
Past President and CEO of American General Securities, Inc., based in Houston, Texas, Paul spent his entire business career in the financial services industry. Upon retiring in 2001, he moved to Colorado, where he became actively involved with Friendship Bridge. Paul joined Friendship Bridge's Board of Directors in 2005, serving for three years and chairing the budget and finance committee, before becoming the Executive Director of the Executive Service Corps based in Aspen, Colo. Paul continued supporting Friendship Bridge, and, upon retiring from Executive Services Corps, rejoined the board in March 2010. Paul has extensive nonprofit experience, having served on several boards while living in Texas and Colorado. He has a master's degree in economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.
Francy S. Milner
Francy Milner teaches business ethics and corporate social responsibility at the Leeds School of Business of the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is the Associate Director for the Leeds initiative, “Curriculum Emphasis on Social Responsibility,” and is particularly interested in business solutions to global poverty. Francy is an experienced employment lawyer, corporate trainer and is the former Assistant General Counsel for Legal Compliance at Coors Brewing Company. She has also provided consulting services to companies on corporate ethics and compliance programs, compliance risk management and corporate governance. Francy is fluent in Spanish and has served on the board of directors for two other nonprofit organization, The Conflict Center and the Colorado Judicial Institute.
Humberto Olavarría
One of Friendship Bridge's newest board members, Humberto Olavarría
is a principal with the Alta Group. He specializes in equipment finance
solutions for manufacturers, vendors, and financial institutions in
Latin America and Asia Pacific. Humberto is also a senior instructor
with Genesis Corp., a leading risk-training firm for financial
institutions around the world, and he is a partner of Inspecciones
Globales S.A., an asset management company that provides services for
financial institutions in Central America. Founder and first chairman of
the Guatemalan Leasing Association, he was also a board member of the
Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce and of the Guatemala Stock Exchange and
has been a frequent speaker at international leasing conferences. Prior
to joining Alta, Humberto was the regional head of asset-based finance
and leasing for Citigroup's Asia Pacific region.
Kelly Reynoldson
Kelly Reynoldson is a partner in the Denver office of Kutak Rock LLP Attorneys, focused on complex commercial real estate and finance
matters. Kelly has served as lead counsel in a number of large-scale,
national projects including sale-leaseback transactions, mortgage and
equipment loan transactions and securitizations. In addition to
providing dedicated service to her clients, Kelly is also actively
engaged in the firm’s management as a member of its advisory and associate development committees. She has extensive experience in
multi-state commercial real estate transactions and is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Idaho and Washington. Kelly is a
member of the Alliance of Professional Women and is excited to be part
of Friendship Bridge's board.
Sandy Younghans
A past president of both the board of directors at both Friendship Bridge and Women's Choice, Sandy is passionate about community service and political activism particularly focused on women and children's rights. Sandy practiced law in Colorado for 25 years. She helped implement Colorado's Joint Custody Act and is an active member of Boulder Valley Women's Health Clinic. She is on the advisory boards of the Women's Foundation of Colorado's Beyond our Borders initative and the Boulder International Film Festival. A former trustee of Naropa University, she continues her work with the Peace Studies Program there, which she helped create. In 2004, Sandy received the Boulder Resource Center Award for Women Who Make a Difference, and in 2005, she was the recipient of the Zonta Yellow Rose for her work in advancing the status of women.

Advisory Board
Lynne Patterson
Lynne is Co-Founder and Executive Director of Pro Mujer International, a microfinance and women’s development network that combines financial services with health care and other training programs so that women can build sustainable lives for themselves and their families. Pro Mujer began in 1991 in Bolivia, and now has programs in Nicaragua, Peru, Mexico, and Argentina. Lynne has advanced degrees in education, and her areas of expertise include women and leadership, women’s empowerment, economic development, and education. Lynne’s experience of building an integrated microcredit organization and her background in education makes her uniquely suited to assist Friendship Bridge during this critical growth phase.
Christopher Dunford
Christopher Dunford, President of Freedom from Hunger, holds a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of Arizona and a bachelor's degree in Biological Science from Cornell University. He has a wide range of development planning and management experience in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the United States through his work with the United Nations, USAID and Freedom from Hunger. Dr. Dunford has been instrumental in the design and implementation of Freedom from Hunger's strategy for providing self-financing poverty lending to rural women while simultaneously providing education on health and nutrition issues. He sits on the boards of InterAction, CRECER, FOCCAS, and Microcredit Enterprises, Inc.
Mimi Schlumberger
Mimi Schlumberger, Co-founder of Friendship Bridge’s Microcredit Program and Past President of the Board of Directors, has been involved with Friendship Bridge for 18 years. She has helped guide the organization through many changes, drawing on her tremendous commitment, energy, and business acumen. Her vision of Friendship Bridge as an integrated microfinance organization with consistent depth and quality, and her ability to help gather the necessary resources make Mimi an invaluable member of the Advisory Board. She also sits on the Board’s Budget and Finance Committee.
